Jazz Band

Jazz Band will begin at the conclusion of marching season. Rehearsals are Mondays from 2:45-3:20 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:05. The jazz band has the opportunity to play many styles that are not often found in marching and concert bands.

The traditional jazz band consists of saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and a rhythm section (bass, guitar, piano, vibes, and drum set). Auditions will be held to determine the roster because of the limited instrumentation.

Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don’t live it, it won’t come out of your horn. They teach you there’s a boundary line to music. But, man, there’s no boundary line to art.
