Each year in December the WSD Holiday Assistance Program helps to provide gifts for needy students and their families. Last year over 360 families and more than 1,000 children received assistance in this charitable effort! The program, coordinated by the WSD Communications & Community Relations Department and school counselors, works with businesses, community groups and individuals to help make the upcoming holidays more enjoyable for struggling families.
Therefore, the Timberland band program participates in this event each year to help make a positive impact on our community.
